Care and Repair @ NewTexEco, Arnhem, NL
Junior Researcher September 2025 - Present
Investigating user-garment connection and textile care and repair’s role in achieving circular economy goals in fashion as part of Care and Repair, a CLICKNL Power of Design & Transitions funded project within the NWO-funded New Textile Ecosystems (NewTexEco) consortium.

  • Liaising with academic, industry, and design partners to consult for and formulate user research studies, utilizing ethnographic methodologies like wardrobe and laundry studies.
  • Designing the research consortium’s first public presentation and research intervention at Dutch Design Week to clearly and creatively communicate project goals.
  • Serving as a first point of contact for consortium knowledge needs, having immersed myself in relevant literature, theories, and methods.

ArtEZ University of the Arts Conservatorium, Arnhem, NL
Project Officer for Diversity & Inclusion. September 2025 - Present
Leading the design and implementation of Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) projects. Alongside, D&I activities, I additionally co-coordinate educational projects and have served as a substitute lecturer.

  • Working with faculty, students, and administration to co-create the conservatory’s first “Student and Faculty Code of Conduct.”
  • Planning and producing masterclasses, workshops, and excursions to thoughtfully present and explore D&I within the culture of a music conservatory.
  • Coordinating the conservatory’s Open Day, building a day of diverse, engaging, and inspiring programming to attract prospective students.

Wagner Society of New York, New York, NY
Project Officer for Diversity & Inclusion. May 2024 - Present
As Verband Liaison, I represent the Wagner Society of New York internationally as a delegate to the Richard Wagner Verband International, building partnerships between our society and international cultural stakeholders. As the Affiliated Organizations Chair, I steer the Wagner Society in developing programs and managing relationships among young artists, musicians, and arts and cultural researchers.

Research Assistant Internship. March 2025 - June 2025
Assisted Professor Melanie Schiller to analyze the impact of music on political identity negotiation within conservative youth culture while developing research skills:

  • Designed a concrete research question and research plan to conduct qualitative research in the American South.
  • Oversaw project approval, creating data management and informed consent protocols compliant with Radboud University and EU GDPR standards.
  • Drafted an NWO OC XS proposal for project expansion.

De Nationale Opera, Amsterdam, NL
Think Tank Member. December 2024 - March 2025
Member of the Arts and Science Think Tank, part of the De Nationale Opera’s Opera Forward Festival. Assuming an unofficial leadership position within the group, I helped fellow members develop their critical stance, as I:

  • Contributed to and led discourse sessions on music, politics, and identity.
  • Designed and edited the group’s inaugural publication.
  • Provided feedback and guidance for publication submissions and presentation topics.
  • Co-created and moderated the Think Tank’s final presentation at SPUI 25.

Village Verein, New York, NY
Executive Director. March 2023 - May 2024
Co-founder and business leader of Village Verein, an independent orchestra presenting non-traditional programs outside of rigid conservatory boundaries. Developed innovative arts programming in my artistic and administrative roles, where I:

  • Directed daily operations and built a long-term strategy for an orchestra of over fifty classical musicians, creating a distinct brand identity in NYC’s competitive performing arts scene.
  • Ideated and produced 14 unique concerts across Manhattan, building collaborative networks with local artists (experimental theatre makers, modern dance collectives, projection artists, etc.) to create innovative, boundary-breaking classical music experiences.
  • Managed all financial and business operations, negotiating contracts and developing a budget of $20,000 through grassroots fundraising.
