Once a precocious child organizing neighborhood street theatre, playground Shakespeare performances, and publishing a weekly cul-de-sac newspaper, adult Caroline can happily proclaim that not much has changed.

Now based in the Netherlands, she is a multidisciplinary academic and creative turned aspiring arts administrator curiously exploring how to mobilize artistic infrastructures against climate change. Having graduated Cum Laude from Radboud University's Creative Industries MA program on a Fulbright Scholarship, Caroline now spends her time at the ArtEZ Unviersity of the Art's conservatorium in Arnhem as a Project Officer for Diversity and Inclusion. As an arts administrator: her keystone project was managing Village Verein, a rising independent orchestra in lower Manhattan. As Executive Director of Verein, she developed the group from a student project to a regularly producing ensemble presenting unique theatrical and concert programming. Most recently, a four-night concert series of Mahler's "Das Lied von der Erde" featuring Grammy-winning tenor Freddie Ballentine and alto Heather Petrie, both of the Metropolitan Opera.here.

As a Wagnerian: she has attended the Bayreuther Festspiele as a stipendiatin. In addition she chairs the Wagner Society of New York's Affliated Organization's committee, leading scholarship recruitment and representing the New York society abroad as a representative to the Richard Wagner Verband International.

As an artist, Caroline primarily writes, works with fiber, and plays music. Working with composer David H. Mailman, the two form a composer/librettist duo. Their collaborative work has premiered at festivals and universities across the United States.Working with fiber, Caroline has been sewing since early childhood. She maintains open sewing commissions for garments and has shipped to clients across the globe. She also teaches crochet lessons.
